It's dark an raining out tonight
It's dark and raining in tonight
The world is cold and empty
Lifeless and devoid of light
I look in the mirror for hope
And find only a cold piece of glass
I look inside for hope
And find only a cold piece of meat
I strain to see beauty outside
And see only a barren waste

I reach out to touch life
And find nothing
